About the Study
The Early Life Exposures in Agriculture (ELEA) Study is a research study directed by the National Cancer Institute, the University of Iowa, and Westat. We are inviting people from Iowa and North Carolina to participate in this study who:
- grew up or worked on a farm,
- spent time on a farm, or
- had a parent or family member involved in farming or pesticide application.
The purpose of the ELEA study is to evaluate how early life experiences, including how growing up or working on a farm, may influence health.
Important: If you received a letter from the University of Iowa, you must first visit their site to consent to be a part of the study.
